The Vitanova School Program for Prımary Schools
Welcome to our program!
The Primary School Vitanova School Program is designed to guide students throughout their learning journeys and support their holistic development.
Program Overview
Our program consists of six core themes, each including two sub-themes. It is a developmental program, not a spiral one.
Each theme is implemented over a six-week period.
A detailed 36-week plan is provided, designed to be implemented as one class hour per week.
Prior to each theme, parent letters explaining the six-week learning process are shared.
The program is delivered through a five-step structured system.
Step 1: Pre-Theme Activity
Students come to class having completed the “Pre-Theme Activity” section in the book assigned by the teacher.
Step 2: First Lesson – Video 1
The teacher introduces the theme verbally.
The lesson begins with the introductory questions and key information provided in the teacher guides.
Video 1 is watched via the classroom portal.
The video is paused at key moments to discuss the questions, gather students’ ideas, and then continue.
Homework
Students are assigned the “Family-Involved Activities” section in the book to complete at home.
Step 3: Lesson 2 – Reading Text
At the beginning of the second lesson, the teacher works through the reading text and reading comprehension section in the book.
Step 4: Theme – Section 2
The three-week segment of the first section of the theme is completed.
The same structure is applied for the second sub-theme:
Week 4: Watching Video 2
Week 5: Reading Text 2
Week 6: Text-based activities and written work
Step 5: Portfolio / Project Completion
At the end of the theme, students choose one project from the available project options and prepare their work.
From Grade 1 onward, students upload all planning documents related to their projects into the designated forms.
Completed projects and forms are uploaded to the students’ Digital Portfolio.
When appropriate, the teacher organizes in-class presentations.
